But in the mid-1950s the "wild youth" developed into a competent and hard-working young man who was able to realize his dream of becoming a business man.

The biography "My Way – My Life“ shows how Albert Berner, despite a bumpy start, managed to become one of the leading entrepreneurs in the region and in his field. The book takes the reader on a journey through his eventful life: from his early childhood and growing up in the small town Künzelsau, through the initial stages of his professional life up to his current role as entrepreneur in his international company operating throughout Europe.

Besides the development of the company and its founder Albert Berner, his human side is not neglected. The private person, the family man, the sportsman – the reader is also introduced to these facets of his personality.

The impulse for the biography came from his son, Christian Berner. After initial hesitation, Albert Berner then agreed to write down his memories. In doing so he not only wanted to give pleasure to his family and friends but also to his employees across Europe, thereby thanking them for their loyal service. In this endeavor he has been ably assisted by the biographers Ute Grau und Dr. Barbara Guttmann from Karlsruhe.
